Future utility for NFT credits
NFT crafting
The first thing we plan to do is implement the ability to craft, or 'merge' specific (yet to be released) NFTs together. Before we launch this feature, we'll be distributing a series of free NFTs. Each of them will have the same design, but will be coloured slightly differently. The idea is that eventually you'll be able to use our website to craft multiples of each one together to get the next rarest colour.
The design itself is based on a certain classic, holographic furni (we'll be sharing images and more information about the design and the feature on our Twitter page 😏)
Exclusive NFT furni
We also plan to add functionality that will allow you to buy NFT furni with your NFT credits. Early next week, Kaneljente will be running a Discord poll for avatar and portrait holders to decide which two NFT furni we should make for this 🗳️
Website redesign
As well as adding a brand new section for our holders to manage their NFT credits and credit furni balances, we made it a lot more compact and easier to navigate.
New team members!
Two 2D pixel artists – Stronghandle and Wataru. – joined the team this month. They'll be working on creating NFT credit furni and items purchasable with NFT credits mentioned here.
We also now have a Business Development Manager who goes by the name of AequitaS_ who will be working on bringing the NFT ecosystem together, the different types of NFT utility, and the economics behind it all.
Our first official live event: the NFT catwalk
Kaneljente and Wowin ran our first big, official live event on habbo.com. It was a huge amount of fun, and we can't wait to do the next one. Join our Discord to make sure you don't miss out.
